Hailing from the beautiful province of Quebec, Michele is the co-owner and executive chef of three critically acclaimed locations in Montreal’s Little Italy; Impasto, Chez Tousignant and Pizzeria Gema.

This year, Impasto was recognized among Canada’s 100 Best for the second year in a row, a large milestone for this Italian cuisine aficionado.

With formal culinary training from the Pius X Culinary Institute and Institut de Tourisme et d'Hôtellerie du Québec, Michele has held top positions with esteemed restaurants including Loews Hotel Vogue, the Nelligan Hotel and was the original chef of Old Montreal’s Osteria Venti.

A cookbook co-author and television food expert, he has also taught alongside top culinary writer Nancy Harmon Jenkins at Tuscany’s Villa Campestri, a popular olive oil estate.
