The Royal Conservatory of Music
Founded by Edward Fisher in 1886, The Royal Conservatory of Music has been a cornerstone of music education in Canada for more than a century. Established as the country's first institution dedicated to the professional training of singers and musicians while fostering a lifelong appreciation for music, the Conservatory has grown into an internationally recognized leader in arts education, performance, and cultural engagement.
Today, The Royal Conservatory extends its legacy beyond education by offering one of Toronto's most distinctive event destinations. Housed within a beautifully restored heritage building, the venue seamlessly combines historic architecture with contemporary design, featuring dramatic floating staircases, soaring floor-to-ceiling glass walls, and elegant gathering spaces including the uniquely spectacular Koerner Hall. Whether hosting corporate events, conferences, receptions, galas, or private celebrations, the RCM provides a sophisticated setting complemented by world-class performance venues and modern amenities, offering guests the opportunity to connect in a space where history, culture, and exceptional design come together.
